Solo Recital Set List: Roll With It - Oasis Eton Mess - Three Finger Salute Louie Louie - The Kingsmen Couldn't Stand The Weather - Stevie Ray Vaughan Cherry - Three Finger Salute Reasoning Behind My Choices: I decided to go for both our originals and covers in order to show how I have interpreted key features from different songs and artists and have used that to give me inspiration in coming up with my own drum part in our songs, but also being able to have my own, fresh ideas. Also these songs all use different techniques and they all sound very different in their styles. For example Roll With It is a classic Brit Pop song, with a driving, happy vibe throughout the song. Whereas Couldn't Stand The Weather, is a more funky rock song which has a lot of dimensions to the song, which doesn't follow the usual Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus structure.
